Bobby’s deal with 1000’s of wheels and tyres a week
We process wheels from end of life vehicles from the DVLA and Government Authority Contractors such as Redcorn. We are able to recycle the tyres positively and responsibly, the majority ending up on our shelves to be sold as “Part Worn” and the rest being exported, the waste is bailed and sent for energy recycling with the rubber crumb used for surfacing in play areas and sports grounds. Any remaining reusable tyres are exported to the North & South American and African markets. The metal wheels are sold back to the market (EMR) for reuse.
Our methods ensure that no part of the wheel and tyre goes to waste, or end up as landfill.
Tyres are a highly controlled waste, here at Bobby’s we have gained the knowledge and experience to deal with them in a responsible manner.
We strive to fill the voids and failings of other providers, learning from years of experience, together, we will continue to be transparent, proactive, environmentally friendly and customer focussed. We will strive to grow the ethic that has helped us be recognised, and sign up many Account customers and Networks in a relatively short time.
